Prayerboard funktioniert vollständig ohne Konto — alle Gebete liegen dann nur lokal auf deinem Gerät. Diese Seite beschreibt, wie du das optionale Prayerboard-Cloud-Konto und die zugehörigen Daten löschst: direkt in der App oder per E-Mail, auch ohne installierte App.

Weg 1: Direkt in der App (empfohlen)

Öffne Einstellungen → „Konto" → „Konto löschen" („Konto und alle Daten dauerhaft löschen, DSGVO Art. 17").
Bist du Mitglied in geteilten Boards, wählst du pro Board, ob deine Anliegen dort anonymisiert (bleiben ohne Bezug zu dir erhalten) oder gelöscht werden.
Bestätige mit „Konto endgültig löschen".

Sonderfall: Bist du der einzige Eigentümer eines aktiven geteilten Boards, musst du zuerst die Eigentumsrechte übertragen oder das Board löschen — die App weist dich darauf hin. Bei Fragen hilft der Support.

Weg 2: Ohne App per E-Mail

Du kannst die Löschung auch ohne installierte App beantragen — zum Beispiel nach einem Gerätewechsel:

Schreibe eine formlose E-Mail mit dem Betreff „Konto löschen" an kontakt@prayerboard.de.
Sende die E-Mail von der Adresse, mit der das Konto angelegt wurde — bei Prayerboard gibt es kein Passwort, dein E-Mail-Postfach ist dein Konto. So ist der Antrag eindeutig dir zuzuordnen.
Du erhältst eine Bestätigung, sobald die Löschung durchgeführt ist.

Hast du keinen Zugriff mehr auf das Postfach des Kontos, wende dich ebenfalls an kontakt@prayerboard.de — wir klären deine Identität dann über eine Rückfrage.

Was gelöscht wird

Alle Cloud-Daten deines Kontos: E-Mail-Adresse, Anzeigename, deine (verschlüsselt gespeicherten) Gebetsinhalte, Board-Mitgliedschaften und synchronisierte Einstellungen.
Aktivitätsprotokoll (Audit-Log): wird nach der Konto-Löschung noch 30 Tage vorgehalten und dann gelöscht.
Daten können darüber hinaus für kurze Zeit in technischen Sicherungskopien (Backups) verbleiben, die turnusmäßig überschrieben werden.
Lokale Daten auf deinen Geräten bleiben erhalten — die App ist ohne Konto weiter nutzbar. Lokale Daten entfernst du in der App oder durch Deinstallation.

Wichtig: Abo separat kündigen

Die Konto-Löschung kündigt kein laufendes Abonnement. Abos werden über den jeweiligen Store verwaltet:

Apple: Einstellungen → dein Name → Abonnements
Google Play: Play-Store-App → Profil → Zahlungen & Abos → Abonnements

Delete Account & Data

Prayerboard works entirely without an account — all prayers then live only locally on your device. This page describes how to delete the optional Prayerboard cloud account and its data: directly in the app, or by email even without the app installed.

Option 1: Directly in the App (Recommended)

Open Settings → "Account" → "Delete account" ("Permanently delete account and all data, GDPR Art. 17").
If you are a member of shared boards, you choose per board whether your requests there are anonymized (kept without any link to you) or deleted.
Confirm with "Permanently delete account".

Special case: if you are the sole owner of an active shared board, you first need to transfer ownership or delete the board — the app will point this out. Support is happy to help with any questions.

Option 2: By Email, Without the App

You can also request deletion without the app installed — for example after switching devices:

Send an informal email with the subject "Delete account" to kontakt@prayerboard.de.
Send the email from the address the account was created with — Prayerboard has no password; your email inbox is your account. This makes the request clearly attributable to you.
You will receive a confirmation once the deletion has been carried out.

If you no longer have access to the account's inbox, also contact kontakt@prayerboard.de — we will then verify your identity with a follow-up question.

What Gets Deleted

All cloud data of your account: email address, display name, your (encrypted) prayer content, board memberships, and synced settings.
Activity log (audit log): retained for 30 more days after account deletion, then deleted.
Beyond that, data may remain for a short time in technical backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis.
Local data on your devices is not affected — the app remains usable without an account. You remove local data in the app or by uninstalling.

Important: Cancel Your Subscription Separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are managed via the respective store:

Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
Google Play: Play Store app → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Eliminar cuenta y datos

Esta traducción se ofrece a título informativo; jurídicamente vinculante es la versión alemana. — Prayerboard funciona completamente sin cuenta: todas las oraciones se guardan entonces solo localmente en tu dispositivo. Esta página describe cómo eliminar la cuenta opcional de Prayerboard Cloud y sus datos: directamente en la app o por correo electrónico, incluso sin la app instalada.

Opción 1: Directamente en la app (recomendado)

Abre Ajustes → «Cuenta» → «Eliminar cuenta» («Eliminar la cuenta y todos los datos de forma permanente, art. 17 del RGPD»).
Si eres miembro de boards compartidos, eliges por cada board si tus peticiones allí se anonimizan (se conservan sin vínculo contigo) o se eliminan.
Confirma con «Eliminar cuenta definitivamente».

Caso especial: si eres el único propietario de un board compartido activo, primero debes transferir la propiedad o eliminar el board; la app te lo indicará. Para cualquier duda, el soporte te ayuda con gusto.

Opción 2: Por correo electrónico, sin la app

También puedes solicitar la eliminación sin tener la app instalada, por ejemplo tras cambiar de dispositivo:

Envía un correo informal con el asunto «Eliminar cuenta» a kontakt@prayerboard.de.
Envía el correo desde la dirección con la que se creó la cuenta: en Prayerboard no hay contraseña, tu buzón de correo es tu cuenta. Así la solicitud queda claramente atribuida a ti.
Recibirás una confirmación en cuanto se haya realizado la eliminación.

Si ya no tienes acceso al buzón de la cuenta, escribe igualmente a kontakt@prayerboard.de; verificaremos tu identidad mediante una consulta adicional.

Qué se elimina

Todos los datos en la nube de tu cuenta: dirección de correo, nombre visible, tus contenidos de oración (almacenados cifrados), membresías de boards y ajustes sincronizados.
Registro de actividad (audit log): se conserva 30 días más tras la eliminación de la cuenta y después se elimina.
Además, los datos pueden permanecer durante un breve periodo en copias de seguridad técnicas, que se sobrescriben de forma periódica.
Los datos locales de tus dispositivos no se ven afectados: la app sigue siendo utilizable sin cuenta. Los datos locales se eliminan en la app o desinstalándola.

Importante: cancela tu suscripción por separado

Eliminar la cuenta no cancela una suscripción activa. Las suscripciones se gestionan a través de la tienda correspondiente:

Apple: Ajustes → tu nombre → Suscripciones
Google Play: app de Play Store → perfil → Pagos y suscripciones → Suscripciones
